How would you spend a million dollars?

We all say we want to be rich, but what few of us stop to consider is that getting rich is not as hard as staying rich. Staying rich requires a lot of discipline when it comes to spending money. Almost 70% of people that win the lottery go broke a few years later. Similar stories exist for professional athletes that have no money a few years after their careers end.

What’s common about those stores is the lack of discipline. We think we would do it better if we had that kind of money, but money has a way of changing people. If you don’t want your story to be like that, you need to mentally prepare for when you get your first million.

Visualize what it would be like to have a million dollars in the bank. What would be the first thing you would do? How would you use each dollar? Write down how the money would be used and review it often to train your mind to be ready for the moment.
